2023-24 MMS Goals

Building SLO/SMART Goal:

 

During the 2023-2024 school year, MMS students will demonstrate an ability to write a text dependent analysis essay that includes a brief introduction, well-developed body paragraphs, and a concise conclusion using shared curricular texts. By the spring of 2024, the total number of students reaching proficiency by scoring a 3 or above as measured by the WI Forward Exam rubric (rubric link) will increase by 15%.


During the 2023-2024 school year, MMS students will demonstrate an ability to comprehend informational/argumentative texts within the Social Studies curriculum measured by reading comprehension and analysis assessments. By the spring of 2024 the total number of students reaching grade level achievement, compared to fall, will increase by 20% as measured by scoring 75% or above on grade level common assessments.


By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the median SGP (student growth percentile) and percent proficiency for grades 6-8 will equal 100% in Math as measured by the STAR assessment a minimum of three times per year.


By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, the median SGP (student growth percentile) and percent proficiency for grades 6-8 will equal 100% in Language Arts as measured by the STAR assessment a minimum of three times per year.


During the 2023-2024 school year, every student at Menomonie Middle School will identify a trusted adult in the building and/or a trusted peer in the building for academic concerns and social/emotional concerns.
