Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

Girls Soccer:  Last night, the girls’ soccer season wrapped up with games against DeLong.  Both teams played very hard and showed a lot of improvement throughout the season.

Morning Workouts:  Morning Workouts are back!  Mondays and Fridays at 6:30am in the gym.  See you Friday.

Yearbook:  Yearbook will have their final meeting this Thursday after school until 4pm.  We will be doing Yearbook handouts and our pizza party to celebrate all your hard work.  We will meet in Mrs. Forster’s room in the green pod.

Self-Care Club:  Self-Care Club will meet tomorrow during WIN.

Cheer Tryouts:  8th grade students interested in Cheer next school year, there will be tryouts tonight at the MHS Mezzanine from 6-8pm.  No previous experience required.

MultiCultural Club:  Check out the MultiCultural Club displays for Hispanic Heritage and Latino Culture in the glass bulletin board cases this week in celebration of Cinco de Mayo!  The official Hispanic Heritage month is from Sept. 15 – Oct. 15.  Sept. 15 was chosen as a start date because it is Independence Day of 5 Latin American countries:  Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.  Mexican Independence is on Sept. 16.

Baking Competition:  Student Council is hosting a baking competition!  Get a partner to make the best chocolate chip cookies and sign up with Ms. Yonash in the 7th grade gold pod, room 714.  The competition will be on Wednesday, May 20th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

School Store:  The School Store will be open for as long as there is inventory.  Once we are sold out of an item, it is done for the rest of the school year.
