Menomonie Middle School Announcements
7th Grade Boys Basketball: Your 7th grade BBB teams played 3 very competitive games against EC South last night and won 2 of the 3 games. Congratulations to all teams as they showed amazing effort and improvement.
EL Testing: Today is the ACCESS Writing Test which takes 2 class periods. EL 8th grade report 1st period. Please check to the schedule in Google Classroom or outside Mrs. Bade’s room 418 to see what time you need to report for testing in room 418 (our EL English Room). You are all doing great! We are almost finished.
8th Grade Boys Basketball: The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team travelled to South last night to compete in three games. After three exciting and intense games, Menomonie won 2 out of the 3 games. They all showed great teamwork and intensity when playing 3 competitive games. Great work to all the players, both coaches are happy to see the improvement throughout the season so far!
Lost and Found: Check the lost and found table by the office and the gyms this week. Any items will be removed from the building after school Friday.
Yearbook: There will be a yearbook meeting Thursday after school until 4:00pm. Please email Mrs. Pabich or Mrs. Forster if you can not attend.
Multi-Cultural Club: We will meet today after school in Mr. Kreibich’s room for our December party.
3rd Quarter Sports: Sign ups will be Monday – Friday this week. You received a Google form via email Monday . Please fill this out if you’d like to participate. Paperwork will not be available until after break. We will be signing up for Boys Swim (6-8) and 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball.
Student Council Dress Up Days: Student Council is hosting a dress-up week next week: Monday, December 15 – Friday, December 19.
Wednesday: Christmas in July (Tropical)
Thursday: Santa’s Workshop (Santa, elves, reindeer, trees, presents, snowmen, etc.)
Friday: Night Before Christmas (Pajama Day)
All school rules apply. Hats that fit the theme are allowed.
Tie Blanket Making: Student Council is hosting a tie blanket-making night for the cats at the Humane Society on Wednesday, December 17th after school until 4:30pm in the cafeteria. All are welcome to join. Fleece is provided.
