Menomonie Middle School Announcements
MathCounts: Congratulations to the MathCounts team for a wonderful competition yesterday. In the individual sprint round in 6th grade, Cody Verdon and Klare Kersten took first, Charles Weinberger took second, and Noah Place got third. In the 6th grade team round, the team of Cody Verdon, Klare Kersten and Hwjkeeb Xiong took 1st place while the team of Kenna Behrens, Logan Sippl, Noah Place, and Hadley Gearing took 3rd place. In the individual sprint round in 7th grade, Karl Anderson took 2nd place while JT Jakubowski took 3rd place. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a successful event.
Wrestling: Wrestling practice will begin on Monday, January 5th right after school. A parent meeting will follow practice at 5pm in the cafeteria. Please plan to attend. If you missed sign ups and would still like to join, stop in the front office and see Ms. Potter.
Lost and Found: Check the lost and found table by the office and the gyms this week. Any items will be removed from the building after school Friday.
Yearbook: There will be a yearbook meeting today after school until 4:00pm. Please email Mrs. Pabich or Mrs. Forster if you can not attend.
3rd Quarter Sports: Sign ups will be Monday – Friday this week. You received a Google form via email Monday . Please fill this out if you’d like to participate. Paperwork will not be available until after break. We will be signing up for Boys Swim (6-8) and 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball.
Student Council Dress Up Days: Student Council is hosting a dress-up week next week: Monday, December 15 – Friday, December 19.
Friday: Night Before Christmas (Pajama Day)
All school rules apply. Hats that fit the theme are allowed.
