Topper’s Dough-nation Night! We are once again partnering with Topper’s Pizza of Menomonie for a Dough-nation Night! Order from Topper’s tonight (Oct. 20) or tomorrow(Oct. 21) from 4pm – 9pm and 25% of the sales will go back to Menomonie Middle School’s PBIS programming. Remember to mention MIDDLE when calling or placing an order online.
Random Acts of Kindness: This week we will be having a school wide random acts of kindness BINGO during our Unity Week Celebration. You will receive your bingo cards in homeroom today. Throughout the week your goal is to complete random acts of kindness that are listed on the card in order to get a bingo. Once you have received a bingo, you will turn your card into your homeroom teacher to be entered into daily drawings for prizes! Thursday at 3:00pm is the cut off for turning in BINGO cards!

Multi-Cultural Club: We will meet Tuesday, October 21st after school from 3-4pm in Mr. Kreibich’s room 412. We will learn about Day of the Dead in Mexico. See you there!
Wounded Warrior Project: As Veterans Day approaches, we are taking part in Honor Their Courage, a Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) initiative to raise awareness and funds that provide life-changing programs for wounded warriors and their families. Our goal is to raise $250 this year. Wounded Warrior Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower injured veterans. Since its founding in 2003, WWP has been transforming the lives of America’s injured veterans and their families through programs and services in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with advocacy efforts, improving the lives of millions of warriors and their families. If you would like to donate toward our fundraising goal, visit the following link to make a contribution. Also, we’d like to invite you to attend our Veterans Day program at the middle school. 2nd Quarter Sports Sign Ups – 2nd quarter sports sign ups will be Monday – Friday this week. You received a Google form via email Monday morning. Please fill this out if you’d like to participate. Then pick up paperwork in the office during lunch, before school or after school. We will be signing up for Girls Swim (6-8) and 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball.
Trap Shooting: Trap sign ups will be today at the middle school from 5pm – 6pm in the cafeteria and Tuesday, October 21st at the high school from 5pm – 6pm in the cafeteria. Anyone interested, please attend.
Volleyball Tournament: Student Council is hosting a Volleyball Tournament Tuesday, Oct. 28th from 3:15pm – 5:00pm in the gym. Rules and registration forms are located in the cafeteria. Teams can consist of 6-8 people. Missed grade and genders. The cost is $3 per person. Forms and payments are due to Mrs. Williams (room 618) by Friday, October 24th.
