Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

7th Grade Girls Basketball:  Congratulations to the 7th Grade BBB teams for a strong effort at EC DeLong last night!  The teams played three very competitive games and even found a way to win 2 of them.

Girls Swim:  The girls swim team competed against EC South last night.  All swimmers performed beautifully and many earned personal records!  Nice job girls!

Snowball Reading Blitz:  We just finished the first week of the Snowball Reading Blitz and the stats are impressive.  In just this week, our school has read a total of 40 boos (9,515 pages)!  Keep it up!

Battle of the Books:  Battle of the Books meeting is this morning during homeroom after announcements.  Please bring your chromebook.

8th Grade Boys Basketball:  The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team hosted DeLong last night in three very competitive games.  During all three games, Menomonie showed passion through playing hard every moment of the game.  The 8th grade teams showed grit and won one of the three games.  Great work to all the players!  The coaches are proud of how you represented our middle school through leadership and positive sportsmanship.

Student Dance:  Student Council is hosting a Neon-Glow-In-The-Dark Dance on Thursday, January 22nd, from 3:00 – 5:00pm in the gym.  Cost: $5 (includes a glow-in-the-dark bracelet).  This dance is for MMS students only.  Concessions will be available for purchase.  Photobooth $1 per group per session.

Mustang Preview Night:  Reminder to 8th grade students and parents that the High School’s Mustang Preview Night has been moved to Monday, January 12th at 5:30pm in the Auditorium at the High School.  Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the high school and offerings available.

8th Grade High School Registration:  8th grade students with any high school registration questions can come to the library during WIN today to see Ms. Kistner. Your yellow registration sheets are due to your homeroom teachers by Tuesday, January 13th.  You can turn them in early.
