Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

MultiCultural Club:  We will meet again this month to prepare for the Homecoming parade!  Our meeting will be Tuesday, September 16 from 3 – 4 in Mr. Kreibich’s room 412.

Morning Workouts:  Did you miss a great opportunity this morning?  There is not much better than starting your day with a morning workout!  Mondays and Fridays at 6:30am, meet in the gym.  See Mr. Bielmeier for more information.

Fall Play:  Congratulations to all who auditioned for the fall play!  The cast and crew list will be posted by the choir room and on the website today at 3:00pm.  If you are on the cast and crew list, please come to the read through and parent meeting on Monday, September 15th after school.  Any question, see Mrs. Enyeart, Ms. Lausted, Mr. Dolan or Ms. Grubbe.

Football:  Great job by the 8th grade football teams last night!  In their first games ever, the Heavyweights won 20-0 and the lightweights battled to a 0-0 tie.  Keep working hard and focusing on improving men.

Yearbook:  Yearbook’s first meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18th right after school until 4pm.  Meet in Mrs. Forster’s room in the green pod in 6th grade.

FFA:  Are you interested in agriculture and careers in ag related fields?  Are you in 4-H or live on a farm?  Then FFA is the club for you.  Join us for our first meeting Thursday, September 26th in Mrs. Forster’s room in the blue pod.  We will learn about all of the opportunities available and meet part of the high school officer team.  All FFA details will also be posted on the bulletin board outside of the 6th grade library entrance.  If you have questions or can’t make it but want to join, email or talk to Mrs. Forster.

Student Council:  Join Student Council!  Student Council is a leadership group that plans student and staff activities as well as community service activities.  We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 7:30am – 8:09am (during Homeroom) in the library.

Application forms are available in the office.  There is no voting process.  Simply fill out the form and get it signed by an adult at home.

Forms are due to Ms. Yonash or Mrs. Williams by Friday, Sept. 26th.
