Building SLO/SMART Goal:
By the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the combined median SGP (student growth percentile) and percent proficiency for grades 6-8 will equal 100% in Language Arts as measured by the STAR assessment given a minimum of three times per year.
By the end of the 2022-2023 school year, the combined median SGP (student growth percentile) and percent proficiency for grades 6-8 will equal 100% in Math as measured by the STAR assessment a minimum of three times per year.
During the 2022-2023 school year, MMS students will demonstrate an ability to comprehend informational/argumentative texts within the Social Studies curriculum measured by common curricular assessments. By the spring of 2023 the total number of students reaching grade level achievement, compared to Fall, will increase by 10% as measured by scoring 75% or above on grade level common assessments.
During the 2022-2023 school year, MMS students will demonstrate an ability to write a text dependent analysis response that includes a brief introduction, well-developed body paragraphs, and a concise conclusion using shared curricular texts. By the spring of 2023, the total number of students reaching proficiency by scoring a 3 or above as measured by the building wide rubric (rubric link) will increase by 10%.
During the 2022-2023 school year, every MMS student can identify at least one adult they trust and feel safe communicating with.
