Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

8th Grade Girls Basketball:  The 8th grade girls basketball team played a hard and tough game against Chippewa Falls last night.  Coach Erickson and Coach Rottier are proud of your teamwork and sportsmanship on the court, and we will be back at it again at home this Thursday!

7th Grade Girls Basketball:  The 7th grade teams played 3 tough games against Chippewa Falls last night and even found a way to win one of them!  Nice job to ALL teams.

FCA:  We will meet at 6:50am in the gym tomorrow.  See you there!

Student Council:  We will meet in the silver pod after school until 4:30pm for fleece blanket making.

Self-Care Club:  We will be meeting today during WIN in room 740.

Dunn County Photography Club:  Dunn County 4-H would like to invite all youth to join the Dunn County Photography Club!  The club teaches the basics of photography and leads "Photo Walks" around the county where youth can try out their skills.  It meets once a month either at the Dunn County Government Center (3001 US Hwy 12, Menomonie, WI) or at various "Photo Walk" locations around the county.

Dodgeball Tournament:  Student Council is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, March 19th from 3:10pm ? 5:00pm in the gym.  Teams of 6.  Teams can be mixed gender and grades.  $2 per person plus $1 for extra lives (max of 3 lives).  Lives can help when you get out or for points.  You can find forms in the cafeteria the week of March 4th.  Registration is due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash with payment by Friday, March 8th.

Yummy Hearts:  Yummy Hearts Suckers are now only .50 at the school store.  Every flavor is left except watermelon and wild cherry.

Spamalot the Musical:  What do we want?  We want a shrubbery!  Today is your last chance - bring a shrubbery if you need to - one that looks nice...but not too expensive - but get yourself to the choir room after school to audition for Spamalot!

February is Black History Month:  Every February, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape the nation.  Black History Month celebrate the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are in indelible part of our country's history.  Throughout the month of February, MMS will recognize just a few African Americans who have influenced this country.
