Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

7th Grade Girls Basketball:  Your 7th grade GBB teams played three challenging games at EC South last night.  Congratulations to all teams for displaying great effort and never giving up.

8th Grade Girls Basketball:  Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team on their win against EC South.  Coach Erickson and coach Rottier are proud of your dedication, hard work and sportsmanship!  Keep it up!

Dodgeball Tournament:  Student Council is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, March 19th from 3:10pm - 5:00pm in the gym.  Teams of 6.  Teams can be mixed gender and grades.  $2 per person plus $1 for extra lives (max of 3 lives).  Lives can help when you get out or for points.  You can find forms in the cafeteria the week of March 4th.  Registration is due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash with payment by Friday, March 8th.

Yummy Hearts:  Student Council still has Yummy Hearts suckers for sale at the school store.  They will be there until we sell out!

Spamalot the Musical:  Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three.  Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.  Five is right out.  The first day of auditions for Spamalot will take place in the choir room in just 3 days.  5 days?  No, 3 days.

Spring Pictures:  Spring pictures will be on Tuesday, February 27th.  We will begin right after announcements and the photographer will leave as soon as we are done so don't be late to school!  Order forms are available in the front office or can be placed online at lifetouch.com using online code:  EVTCTT8BJ

Yearbooks:  Last call to get your Yearbook at the lowest price it will be!  Order it online at jostens.com by today to get it for $25.  No in person sales.

February is Black History Month:  Every February, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape the nation.  Black History Month celebrate the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are in indelible part of our country's history.  Throughout the month of February, MMS will recognize just a few African Americans who have influenced this country.
