Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

7th Grade Boys Basketball:  The broom came in handy last night as your 7th grade BBB teams completed a CLEAN SWEEP at EC Northstar last night.

Menomonie won all three of their games by playing some great TEAM basketball!

 

MultiCultural Club:  UW Stout will host a Hmong New Year event tomorrow, Saturday, December 2, from 10am to 3:30pm.  Entry cost is $7.  Hope to see some of you there!

 

8th Grade Boys Basketball:  Congratulations to both 8th grade BBB teams on their hard-earned wins last night against Northstar.  M1 won 56-38 and M2 won 33-25.  Well done, boys!  Practice today is right after school until 4:45pm.

 

Girls Swim:  Congrats to all the swimmers on your 1st swim meet! You all did amazing.  

A big congrats to those who scored points in the meet:

Ellie M., Clara and Kaylyn in the 200 Freestyle

Bella and Ava who both scored points in the IM and the Butterfly

Clara, Gwen and Kate who scored in the 50 Free

Kinsley, Lily and MaKenzie T. for points in the 100 Free

Grace, Olivia and Layla for points in the Backstroke

Ellie M., Addison and Kinsley for points in the Breaststroke

 

Congrats to the 10 new swimmers who swam a 50 free and 50 back and a relay for the 1st time EVER!

Student Council:  Student Council is hosting a fleece drive December 4 – 8.  Fleece will be used to make blankets for the cats at the Dunn Country Humane Society on Wednesday, December 13th after school.  The collection bin will be outside of the front office.

 

Forensics:  Don’t miss your chance to find out what the MMS Forensics Team is all about today after school until 3:45 in the Choir room.  If you can’t attend the meeting, but want to join forensics, pick up a registration packet from Mrs. Enyeart or Mr. Haas today!
