Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Seussical Jr.  Congratulations to the cast and crew of Seussical Jr.  You all did an amazing job!  Cast party today in the choir room until 4pm.

Boys Tennis:  The boys tennis teams were ON FIRE last Thursday afternoon as they won decisively over Eau Claire South.  M1 won their match 12-4 while the M2 team won their match 9-4.  Almost ALL double teams had a win and many teams swept their opponents.  A special shout out to Sawyer Schenck, Breckan Babl, Caleb Gunderson, Will McKnight, Joey Vang and Alan Infante who are undefeated at 4-0.  The boys are back in action TODAY against Eau Claire Delong.  Good Luck!

Track and Field:  This is a reminder that today’s meet is at the high school.  If you ride a bus that normally stops at the HS, ride your regular after school bus and get off at the High school.  If you do not ride a bus that stops at the high school, or do not ride a bus, there will be a track bus outside of the gym doors.  Please only ride this bus if you do not ride a bus normally that stops at MHS.

MMS March Madness:  Congratulations to the following winners of our MMS March Madness Bracket & WI State Forward attendance tournament.  In 6th grade the winning CARES is Mrs. Anderson.  In 7th grade the winning CARES is Mrs. Clark, and in the 8th grade the winning CARES is Mrs. Brenner.  The PBIS team will be in touch about prizes.  The overall MMS winner with a total of 192 points is Emmi Marlett.  Please stop down to the office for your prize.  Congratulations to all our winners.

MultiCultural Club:  Reminder we are selling concessions at the track meet today at the high school.  See Mrs. Xelhuantzi, Ms. Panella, or Mrs. Bade if you have any questions.  See you there!

Multicultural Fact:  In 2020 there were 62.1 million Latinos in the USA, 18% of the American population.  This is the 2nd largest culture group.

Girls Soccer:  Please excuse the girls soccer team today at 3pm for their away game against Regis Middle School tonight.  Buses will load outside the doors by the girls locker room and we will leave by 3;10.  Good luck girls!
