SAGA:  We will meet this Wednesday after school in Mr. Dolan’s room.  See you there!

Science Olympiad:  On Feb 4, the Menomonie Middle School Science Olympiad competed in an online, nationally ranked invitational. We competed against schools from 27 states. Our team placed 6th overall with a 5th place finish by Jai Hasse and Otis Yonko in Can't Judge a Powder, a 4th place finish in Disease Detectives by Eleanor Beck and Nora Skorczewski, and a 4th place finish in Write It Do It by Darla Woodford and Davis Woodward. 

8th Grade Girls Basketball:  Congratulations to our 8th grade girls basketball team on two outstanding victories at Eau Claire South last night.  The girls will be at home tonight against Northstar Middle School.  Come on out and cheer them on!  Go Mustangs!

Battle of the Books:  Our final battle of the 22-23 season is tomorrow during WIN.  Please make sure your team members are ready!  Happy reading!

Black History Month:  Laila Ali is an American television personality and retired professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2007. During her career, from which she retired undefeated, she held the WBCWIBA, IWBF and IBA female super middleweight titles, and the IWBF light heavyweight title. Ali is widely regarded by many within the sport as one of the greatest female boxers of all time.[2] She is the daughter of iconic boxer Muhammad Ali.

Parent/Teacher Conferences:  Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 4:00pm – 7:30pm.  If you do not have a conference time, please contact your student’s CARES teacher to arrange a time.  Thank you to all of the parents that came yesterday.  It was great to see you!
