FFA:  Congratulations to the FFA Quiz Bowl team for their 1st place win at Regionals last night.  The team consisted of Brianna Klimek, Rylan Holmstadt, Clayton Smith, Allison Bartlett, Mason Pfeilsticker, and the alternates Cole Quilling & Daisy Plett.  On to Sectionals in April!

Forensics:  Good luck to our Forensics team at your meet tonight after school!

Black History Month:  Victor Glover ~ When NASA astronaut Victor Glover arrived at the International Space Station — roughly 250 miles above earth — on a SpaceX Crew Dragon Capsule in November, he settled in for a six-month stay to become the first Black astronaut to live and work on ISS for an extended period of time. (Of the more than 300 NASA astronauts who have been sent to space, only 14 have been Black Americans.)

Battle of the Books:  Reminder to our Battle of the Books teams that we will have round 6 of our round robin battles TODAY during WIN in the library.  After the battle, participants will return to their class.  Happy reading!

Parent/Teacher Conferences:  Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 4:00pm – 7:30pm.  If you do not have a conference time, please contact your student’s CARES teacher to arrange a time.  Thank you to all of the parents that came yesterday.  It was great to see you!

Student Council:  Please check Google Classroom for important sign ups and announcements.

Happy National School Counselors Week!  Thank you to our school counselors for all of your hard work and dedication to the students of MMS.  Your tireless efforts do not go unnoticed.
