Red Ribbon Week:  This week is Red Ribbon Week.  Throughout WIN this week you will be participating in Red Ribbon Week Activities.  Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program.  Each year from October 23 – October 31, millions of people across the country partake in Red Ribbon Week by wearing the color red and red ribbons and engaging in conversations and activities that focus on the importance of living a drug free life.  Red Ribbon Week reminds us all of the importance of making healthy and smart decision throughout life so that your dreams and goals can be achieved.

 

Science Olympiad:  There will be a Question and Answer session for new and interested Science Olympiad members this Friday, October 28.  Regular practices will start next Tuesday and Thursday, November 1 and 3.  Make sure you’ve filled out the online form for sign up! Contact Coach Zuber with any questions.

 

Weight Room:  Anyone interested in improving their athletic abilities is encouraged to attend morning workouts with Mr. Bielmeier.  Tuesdays are speed, Fridays are strength.  Meet in the gym by 6:30am.

 

Volleyball Tournament:  Student Council will be hosting a Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, October 27th, from 3:15pm – 5:00pm.  Registration forms are in the cafeteria.  Teams should be between 6-8 players.  Can be mixed grade and genders.  $2 per player.  Registration forms can be turned in to Ms. Yonash or Mr. Haas.

 

Multicultural Club:  Multicultural Club is selling Butter Braids!  If you want to order and buy some, please see a Multicultural Club member or contact Mrs. Bade in room 418.
