Art: March is Art awareness month, therefore the K-12 Art Department puts up artwork at various locations in Menomonie. The following students are representing MMS at the locations listed below for the month of March:

Note to Parents:  There will be no school on Friday, March 11th as the High School Girls Basketball heads to State!  Good luck! 

6th Grade Field Trip:  The 6th grade reward field trip will be moved to Thursday, March 10th due to school being cancelled on Friday.

Spring Break:  Don’t forget Spring Break is next week so there will also be no school Monday, March 14 – March 18.

Spring Sports Sign Ups:  Sign up will be held on Tuesday, March 7 & Wednesday, March 8 during lunch.  Sign ups will be for:

6th, 7th & 8th Grade Boys Tennis

6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls Soccer

6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls and Boys Track

 

Multi Cultural Club:  We will have a Multi Cultural Club meeting after school Thursday, March 10 in Señora Lemanski’s room #412.  Come play KaHoot about countries of our world!  The meeting will end at 4:00pm.

Dodgeball Tournament:  Student Council will be hosting a dodgeball tournament on Tuesday, March 22nd from 3:15 – 5pm in the gym.  Teams of 6, any grade or gender can be made.  $2 per team member plus you can buy extra live for $1 per life up to 3 additional lives per person.

Registration will be the week this week.  Forms will be in the cafeteria.  Forms and money due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash by Thursday, March 10th at 3pm.

Battle of the Books:  Our end of the year awards will be Wednesday during WIN in Ms. Kerg’s room in the gold pod.
