7th Grade Boys Basketball:  Grandma always said, “If you want to clean up, you gotta bring the broom.”  That is exactly what your 7th grade BBB teams did at EC Northstar last night with a CLEAN SWEEP of all four games. Nice job!

 

8th Grade Boys Basketball:  Stats for last night game against Northstar Middle School.

Team 1:  35-41 loss, leading scorers Charlie Mikesell with 10 points and Adonis butler with 12 points.

Team 2:  32-46 loss, leading scorers Jacob Rue and Max Erickson each with 10 points.

Team 3:  53-42 win, leading scorers Taylor Mars with 20 points and Max Branch with 13 points.

 

FCA:  FCA will meet tomorrow at 6:50am in the gym.  See you there!

 

SAGA:  We will meet this Thursday after school in room 815 in the White Pod.  All are welcome!

 

Yearbook:  7th & 8th grade students, if you missed out on a yearbook last year, we have 20 copies left for sale for $15 each.  Please bring exact cash or check to Mrs. Forster or Mrs. Krueger in the 6th grade.  The yearbooks will be given out on a first come first serve basis with payment.  You can stop by before CARES or right after school.

 

Student Council:  There is a full Student Council meeting this Thursday, December 9th at 7:00am.  Be on time, wear your shirt, and be ready to plan.

 

EL Testing:  7th grade EL ACCESS testing begins today.  7th grade EL students please report to Mrs. Bade in room 418 during WIN today.

 

Forensics:  If you missed the Forensics Kick-off meeting on Friday, but are interested in joining the Forensics team, see Mrs. Enyeart or Mr. Haas.  All Forensics student, join the Google Classroom and fill out your enrollment form this week.

 

Girls Swim:  We have a swim meet on today.  Swimmers stay at MMS.  We will be boarding the bus back by the gym at MMS at 3:15pm.  We will be changing in the locker rooms at Chippewa Falls.  The meet is from 4:30 – 5:30.   The pool is at the middle school in Chippewa Falls.

 

Battle of the Books:  If you are interested in participating in the Battle of the Books, you can sign up in the library.  Our first meeting is Monday, December 20th during your lunch, but come sign up and get a head start on reading.  Ask Ms. Kim in the library for more details.

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
