Volleyball: Congratulations to the volleyball
teams who won 3 games and tied 1 last night.
Great job everyone!
Library: The library will be closed
today. We will not have checkouts
available today.
Cross Country: Congratulations to the boys and
girls cross country team who were third at the Eau Claire Invite last
night. The girls were led by race winner
Kyah Barnhart who ran a blazing 13?21 to take the win. The boys were led by a fantastic bounce back
race from Kaden Gransee-Tatge who ran 12:40 and placed ninth.
Special
congrats to several boys 7th & 8th runners who ran
their lifetime personal bests, including Will Haugle, Peyton Keyes, Alan
Infante, Will McKnight, Evan Olson, Max Jaeger, Carter Joncas, Ethan Nelson, Jacskson
Pfeilsticker, Luke Ray, Joey Vang, and Max Spartz.
On
the girls’ side, returners Serena Green and Kyah Barnhart also set new person
records!
Reminder
that tonight is picture night. Please
wear your maroon t-shirts to Cross Country practice.
Weight Room: The weight room will be open
tomorrow (Thursday) morning, NOT Friday this week.
Girls Tennis: Your Menomonie Girls Tennis Teams
went up against Eau Claire South and Northstar last night and played fantastic! Many doubles teams got their first wins of
the season!
The
M2 team ended up splitting 6-6 against EC South and M1 lost a close match
against Northstar 4-10.

The
tennis teams are back in action this Thursday.
My Teacher Rocks! Kristo Orthodontics wants to know
who you think the beast teacher. We all know how hard our teachers work,
especially in the times we are in right now.
Give your teacher the well deserved thank you by entering them in the
“Teacher’s Dream Survival” Basket Giveaway.
The winning teacher will be given a shout out and win a Teacher’s Dream
Survival Basket filled with items all teachers need and want! Fill out an entry form and submit it to the
front office by October 30th.
Forms are available in the front office.
The winning teacher will be announced November 5th!
October is National
Bullying Prevention Month. Take a stand
against bullying and continue to be uspstanders in and out of school. We will celebrate Unity Day in the middle of
the month. Take your picture before or
after school by the KIND sign in the cafeteria.
We will have other projects going on throughout the month! Listen to announcement and in your CARES room
for more details.

Reminders: We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing
and respiratory etiquette. A friendly reminder to all students to
continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines. We have
sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch
lines and in classrooms. Please stay
home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19
test result.
