PBIS Reward:  A reminder to students who received a yellow PBIS slip from Ms. Yonash or their CARES teacher to come down to the teacher’s lounge after announcements.

Health Room Reminder:  All medication you may have in the health office should be picked up on or before the last day of school.  We do not keep medication for the next school year.  Please come to the health office at the end of the day if you are picking up medication to take home.

Please return all ice packs to the health office before the last day of school.

Writing Club:  MMS Writing Club is sponsoring its fifth poetry slam/reading.  All students are welcome to come and share a piece of their writing.  Come and read a poem, paper or creative story you wrote.  This will take place at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 30th at the Raw Deal.  See Mr. Collins with any questions.

Yearbooks:  If you didn’t pick up your yearbook yesterday, please do so during CARES or lunch today or next week.  There will be a list of names outside Mrs. Creviston’s room, room 418 next to the computer lab, of students she still has books for.  If you’d still like to purchase a book, there are several soft cover books for $25 and three hardcover books for $30.  Exact cash or a check to Menomonie Middle School is needed.  Thank you to everyone who purchased a book this year.  We hope that you are enjoying them.

Student Council:  Congratulations to the Student Council officers for the 2017-18 school year.  Secretary/Treasures:  McKenna Mogen and Riley Beazley.  Vice-President:  Makenna Amundson.  President:  Kevin Leach.

Impact Testing:  Any 8th graders that plan to play sports next school year will need to do an Impact Test.  You cannot take the test without the signing up and you must return the permission at the time of testing in order to take it.  There is a limited amount of space so stop in as soon as possible.  We have added a testing date of Wednesday, May 31st from 3 – 4 pm.  If you have not signed up for a date or can’t make it tomorrow, stop in the front office and sign up.
