For any girls interested in playing 7th and 8th grade Menomonie Middle Volleyball for the 2010-2011 school year:
We are planning on offering a Volleyball Camp from August 23 through August 26 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Middle School. The plans for this camp will be the basic fundamentals from appropriate warm-ups to basic drills. This camp is designed to provide students with the opportunity to help new players determine whether this is a sport they may be interested in and the chance for returning players to “dust off the cobwebs”.
The 2010 Menomonie Middle School Football season will get underway Thursday, August 26th. All interested 8th grade Football Players and Parents should report to the Middle School Gym at 4 pm on Thursday, August 26th for a coaches meet and greet and equipment hand out. The equipment handout will go until 6 pm for those families that may have conflicts.

Returning 7th and 8th grade students may pick up schedules beginning Monday, August 16. Office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday August 16 through August 19. Office hours beginning Monday, August 23 are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Students who had their spring pictures taken should return pictures or payment no later than Friday, May 21. Pictures and payments can be placed in the drop box in the middle school office. If you are using the family plan and paying at another school, please bring a note from a parent or speak with Mrs. Beaupre in the health room regarding which school is receiving the payment. Students should promptly return all pictures that are not being purchased. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Summer School/Rec Department brochures are available at the Middle School in the main office. It is also available online at the school district website on . Parents may choose to use this option to gather their information but registration forms will still need to be turned in at the individual school sites or the ASC.
Welcome to Summer School 2010! Again this summer the School District of the Menomonie Area is pleased to coordinate the course offerings of Menomonie Parks & Recreation Department and the School District of the Menomonie Area. The brochure contains information explaining the classes offered by both agencies. Please take special note of the changes listed below in the Registration Deadline and Registration Fee portion of this letter.
